Beginner Golf Program – 6 Weeks to Confidence on the Course
No experience needed. No equipment required. Learn the game in a fun, structured program you can do solo or with up to 3 friends.
Who It’s For
This program is designed for:
• Complete beginners who have never taken a lesson
• Golfers who have played a little but want proper fundamentals
• Lapsed golfers getting back into the game
• Couples, friends, or coworkers who want to learn together in a relaxed setting
No equipment is required — all clubs and balls are provided.
How the 6-week Prgram Works
• Weeks 1–5: One 60-minute lesson each week focused on a key part of the game.
• Week 6: A guided on-course session where you put everything together on the golf course.
• Choose to do the program solo for fully personalized coaching.
• Or bring up to 3 friends for a fun small-group experience (max 4 players total).
• All clubs and balls are provided — no equipment needed.
• Small groups keep the experience relaxed, enjoyable, and beginner-friendly.
Week 1 – Fundamentals
Grip, stance, posture, alignment, and balance. Learn how to set up to the ball properly and build a consistent starting position.
Week 2 – Short Game Basics
Chipping and pitching technique, club selection around the green, and basic distance control.
Week 3 – Iron Contact
Learn to strike the ball first, improve contact, and build a simple, repeatable iron swing.
Week 4 – Driver
Setup for the driver, building confidence off the tee, improving contact, and controlling direction.
Week 5 – Putting
Putting setup, speed control, green reading basics, and developing a consistent putting routine.
Week 6 – On-Course Session
Tee-to-green flow, pace of play, etiquette, club selection, basic strategy, and playing a few holes with coaching support.

Our lessons take place on the north end of the driving range at Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, which features a bentgrass tee deck, chipping and putting greens, and a fairway bunker

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling of lessons. If you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hours notice, the lesson will be forfeited.
